Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was like a dream come true. The rooms were huge and perfect to stay with friends or for families. The freestanding bath, heated tiles in the bathroom, and very comfortable bed made my stay even more enjoyable. The service was absolutely amazing, from the reception on arrival to the bar staff and night porter - they were all top-notch. The location was excellent, close to the city centre and just a short walk to the nearest pubs and restaurants. The dining experience was fantastic, and the view of the waterfall from the dining room was a real treat. The facilities were great, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is located just outside the main center of Cork, making it convenient for short-term stays and easy walking to all the attractions. The service was professional and attentive, although the property is not suitable for everyone due to the stairs. The traditional Irish music scene at The Corner House is a big draw for fans.
The hotel was perfect for us with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, shower room, kitchen, and living room/diner. While the room wasn't ready on arrival and breakfast was considered far too expensive, a little bit of maintenance wouldn't hurt the overall experience.
The rooms have obviously had a makeover relatively recently and are very comfortable, but unfortunately face the alley, with a restaurant's trash cans out back. The lack of air circulation made the room extremely hot.
The hotel is conveniently located near the main streets in Cork, making it ideal for groups and families. The rooms had most things needed for our stay but were unbearably hot at times. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff, including a welcoming reception. The location is perfect, right in the city center, and offers the comforts of home with good facilities. The dining experience had its shortcomings, including a limited breakfast selection, but they accommodated vegetarians. Overall, a convenient choice with some room for improvement.
The hotel had beautiful rooms that I could wake up to every morning. The restaurant felt like a 5-star experience. However, the rooms seemed a bit older, around 10 years, and we had noise issues at night that disturbed our sleep despite multiple complaints.
The hotel was modern, clean, and very comfortable for our two small kids, but the rooms were very hot and not easily cooled off. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to assist, especially a man wearing a tazmanian tie. The location was central, but our room was quiet. The dining experience was very nice, and the facilities were great.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The 2-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette and living room was very comfortable, offering a large, clean, and cozy space. The courtyard bar was a nice touch, although there was a bit too much noise from the street at times. The proximity to the city center and train station was convenient.
The hotel's courtyard entrance and view of the waterfall from the dining area were lovely. However, the room in the 2-bed apartment faced the front of the building, resulting in early morning traffic noise and noise from bottle bins being emptied. The rooms seemed a bit older, maybe around 10 years.
The hotel location is excellent, close to everything we wanted to see, although the surroundings were a little noisy at night. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to help. The dining options were average, with some room for improvement in quality. The rooms were hot and lacked proper cooling, but they did have useful amenities like a washing machine and dishwasher.
